“Relationship is at the foundation of my approach”
Working with individuals to overcome challenges
ONE-TO-ONE
My Approach
Individual therapy is a personal journey focused on your growth and self discovery. Together we will explore the depths of your emotions, fostering an environment for self-awareness, development and empowerment. The therapeutic relationship is built on trust, respect, genuine care, and honesty, which are essential for you to feel at ease in the relationship, encouraging you to express yourself without the fear of judgement or rejection. You will develop healthier coping strategies, and you will learn tools to overcome struggles and challenges, and create positive changes in your life.
PERSON-CENTRED
At the heart of your therapeutic journey lies the person-centred approach, honouring your individuality and innate potential for growth. Your experience and feelings are the compass that guides our exploration. You will feel supported and valued in your pursuit of personal growth and healing, where you are met with unconditional positive regard, empathy and genuineness. By walking alongside you I will support you to access your whole self, learning methods for integration. You will learn to experience emotional freedom and how you can become your authentic self.
PYSCHOTHERAPY
Your journey is unique and our counselling sessions reflect that. The importance of a healthy relationship is the cornerstone of my practice. I will work collaboratively with you to understand yourself better. You will learn about your behaviours, past and present, and your unconscious will start to be conscious. We look at past experiences and relationships, and gain awareness of our shadow and disowned parts. We use any transferences happening from inside or outside of the therapy room to exploring the here-and-now. I will support you to help you understand your struggles and triggers, and help you find a sense of belonging and inner peace.
